This Traveling Budai, notoriously known as the Laughing Buddha, makes a great addition to your home. This Budia encourages good fortune, health, and general well being. While commonly referred to as the 'Lucky Buddha', he is actually based on a Chinese Monk who was believed to be a reincarnation of Maitreya, who would one day become the next Buddha.

The Chinese Dragon represents power, strength, and is a symbol of good things to come. In Chinese culture, powerful and notable people would be compared to a dragon. Chinese emperors notoriously wore dragons on their robes as a symbol of their power. In the sculpture the dragon is holding a ball, or what is supposed to be the flaming pearl. This is a representation of spiritual energy, representing a very powerful spirituality and knowledge of the universe.

The two together represent both strength and abundance, something which can be beneficial for all of us to have in our homes. Both a beautiful addition to any home, and an excellent conversation piece, this is one of my favorites in the shop.

This sculpture is about 10 inches tall, and 5 inches wide across the base of the statue. It is made from Brass
