Traditionally worn by the Miao Hmong women of Southern China and Northern Laos for good luck and protection, as silver is believed to influence the spirit world.
I personally brought this piece back from my travels through the remote Miao Hmong villages of Southeast Asia.
Made by hand by the skilled Hmong silversmiths with silver and brass . Closes easily with an adjustable clasp in the back.
Inner circumference: About 15" (38cm)
A stunning example of traditional Southeast Asian ethnic jewelry from the Miao Hmong tribal people. Absolutely gorgeous.
