Awesome Tibetan saddle ring with quality labadorite cabochon embellished with delicate filigree. This piece is crafted by traditional Tibetan artisans in Nepal.
The design represents a horse saddle. The Tibetan plateau rests high in the Himalaya, far removed from surrounding civilizations. However, horse caravans traveling on trade routes along the silk road and Mongolian horsemen opened Tibet to the world. Thus, the horse saddle represents discovery, power and prosperity to the Tibetan people.
Deep inside the stone are hues of blueish greens that changes color and intensity with each new angle of light. This is a stone that has long symbolized the journey of inner-discovery.
Certainly a very powerful ring.
The metal used is a mixture of silver and brass.
Approximately 1 inch
Please note: It is very difficult to photograph labadorite! Each glimmer of light and angle changes the coloration of the stones. It will always look different.
