Hmong Battle Axe Miao Hill Tribe Ceremonial Artifact
Definitely the most bizarre item in my shop!
This is a ceremonial battle axe that attaches to the costume of a Hmong tribesman for important ceremonies. The axe represents power and strength. On the axe are etchings of lions, dragons and other mythical creatures that represent power and strength in Hmong culture.
Made with silver and brass in the 1960's. It does show some age, especially tarnish around some carved pieces. But it is in great vintage condition.
An absolutely fantastic museum quality piece of traditional Miao Hmong tribal culture and artistic heritage!
We're sure you'll love this! But if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, then you may return it for a full refund.
